The new lens series takes the Supreme Prime Series as its foundation with the newly developed T*blue coating, the ability to control beautiful and consistent flare, and the possibility for never before seen image expression.
Equipped with ZEISS eXtended Data technology, the T* blue coating was developed to maintain flawless image quality and contrast with control over flare effects in any situation.
Its 46.3mm image circle covers full-frame sensors and is compatible with the likes of Sony VENICE, ARRI ALEXA LF/Mini LF, and RED MONSTRO.
The 7-lens series at T1.5 includes 21mm, 25mm, 29mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 100mm.
Orders are being accepted in Japan for a limited time, until March 31, 2020.

The dynamic contrast drive, a newly developed backlight driving system, dynamically changes the contrast depending on the scene.
It can be used to check the highlights and low lights, balancing the contrast of the bright and dark areas of each scene.
The PVM-X2400 retails for 1,400,000yen not including tax, and the PVM-X1800 is 1,150,000yen not including tax (suggested retail price).
