The XF200mm F2 R LM OIS WR is the first super-fast telephoto lens in the XF lens lineup, offering a fast maximum f-stop 2.0 and a focal length equivalent to 305mm in 35mm film format (released on the end of October). It applies technologies from experiences in broadcasting and movie industries as FUJINON lenses. The XF1.4X F2 TC WR teleconverter is also released at the same time. It extends the focal length of the lens by 1.4 times and will be available as a kit with the XF200mm. It allows the lens to cover a focal length equivalent to 427mm at F2.8.

One of the EF lens’ “three sacred treasures” improved even more. EF70-200mm F4L IS II USM has progressive performance of Image Stabilization, which makes handheld shooting easier, 0.27x max magnification, fluorine coating, and 9 blades on aperture that existing ones have only 8 blades (released on June 28). EF70-200mm F2.8L IS III USM reduces flares and ghosting, and features new coating technology “ASC (Air Sphere Coating)”(released on middle of September).
